Prosun Energy Pvt Ltd is based at No. 35 in the SIDCO Industrial Estate. If you’ve ever been to an industrial estate, you know exactly what it’s like. There are rows of buildings that all look somewhat similar, and there’s always the smell of grease or metal in the air. Our spot is a straightforward one. We have a front office area that’s mostly for the paperwork and a larger back section where the real work happens. It’s not a place where you’d expect to see people in suits. Most of us are in sturdy clothes because things can get a bit messy. The floor is concrete and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they’ve been that way for years and nobody seems to mind. We have a small table in the back where we take our breaks and have our tea. It’s where most of the important decisions actually get made, usually over a few biscuits. The gate is usually open during the day to let the deliveries in and out. It’s a bit loud with the nearby factories running their machines, but it’s a good kind of noise. It means people are working. We just stay focused on our own corner of the estate and try to get everything done by Friday afternoon.
