Skandha Exim

Skandha Exim is located at No. 7 Anbu Nagar 5th Street, right off Vadavalli Road in Edayarpalayam. It’s easy to miss if you aren't looking for it, as we are tucked back a bit. We share the same street with a few other businesses and houses. Our daily routine involves a lot of sorting through items and making sure the labels are stuck on correctly. It’s not the most exciting work, but it’s what we do. The office is basically one big room with some plastic chairs and a few aging computers. We don't have a fancy sign or a lobby. Vadavalli Road is always busy with bikes and cars, so it’s a relief to step inside our gate where it’s a bit calmer. We handle exports for various local products, and it takes up most of our energy. We aren't corporate people; we are just locals who know the trade. Sometimes we have to work on weekends if a shipment is delayed, which happens more often than we’d like. We don't have a big HR department or anything; we just talk to each other and figure things out as we go. It’s a bit of a scramble sometimes when three things happen at once, but we've learned how to manage. It is a plain, hard-working environment where we just focus on the movement of goods. We don't make big promises, we just try to get the containers loaded and shipped.
