Siva Agro

Siva Agro is located at 3-5-256 on Sundarayyar Street in Thotapalayam. It’s an old street with a lot of character. We’ve got a lot of stuff piled up inside, mostly things related to the farm work and supplies that come through here. The floors are concrete and they get a bit stained with dirt from people walking in, but that’s expected in our line of work. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just some ceiling fans that we leave on all day during the summer. Thotapalayam is a busy place, and Sundarayyar Street is usually full of activity from early morning. We get a lot of regulars who have been coming to us for years. They know where everything is almost as well as we do. The back room is where we keep the heavier inventory. Sometimes it smells a bit like earth and seeds in here, which isn't a bad thing. We have a small desk near the front where we handle the cash and the receipts. It’s a simple setup. My brother helps out sometimes when things get overwhelming. We take turns going out to get snacks from the shop around the corner. It’s a practical business, run by people who aren't afraid to get their hands a little dirty. We just show up every day and do the work that needs doing. It's just how the street is, always busy.
