Our office is at No. 8 in the Vijay Complex, which sits in Cheran Nagar in Pollachi. If you know Pollachi, you know it’s a place that lives and breathes agriculture. We are right in the middle of that. The complex is a busy little hub where people from all over the area come to do business. We deal with agro products and supplies, and our days are usually dictated by the local harvest cycles. Inside the office, it’s mostly just us and a few desks piled with invoices. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just the basics to get the work done. You can usually hear the sounds of the town outside, people chatting and bikes revving. We talk to a lot of local growers and traders who drop by to discuss prices or deliveries. It’s a very hands-on kind of business. We’ve been in Cheran Nagar for a while, so we know the other shop owners in the complex. Sometimes we step out for a tea at the corner when things get a bit too hectic. It is a simple life, focused on the earth and what it produces. We don’t try to be anything we are not. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and see what the day brings in terms of orders and agricultural news. It’s about being reliable for the people who depend on us for their daily agro needs.
