Shri Surya Marbles & Granites is right across from the KMCH Hospital on Avinashi Road. The address is No.12/205, near the Civil Aerodrome Post. It is a busy stretch of road, so there are always people passing by. We have been here for a while now, dealing in all kinds of marble and granite. It is a straightforward shop. We keep the slabs out so people can see the patterns and colors for themselves. No tricks or fancy lighting. Just the stone as it is. We get a lot of people coming in because they are doing up their houses nearby or working on something at the hospital. Working with stone is heavy, and our hands are usually covered in grit. That is just how the job is. We do not have a big corporate office or a team of salespeople. Usually, it is just one of us meeting you and showing you what is in stock. We try to keep things organized, but with so much granite moving around, it can get a bit cluttered. Avinashi Road is always loud, but we like the energy of the area. We have seen the neighborhood grow quite a bit since we first started. Most of our days are spent loading and unloading trucks or helping customers figure out how much stone they need. It is practical work. We are just local people running a local business, plain and simple. We like it that way.
