Service Engineer

We've been here at Sankar Lay Out for a while now. The shop is small but we keep it organized enough to get the work done. People around Subramaniyam Palayam usually drop by when something breaks. It's mostly just regular days here, answering calls and checking parts. We spend a lot of time on 10th Street. Sometimes it's quiet, other times it's a bit of a mess with all the tools out. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just the workspace where the actual fixing happens. It gets hot in the afternoons but the fan keeps things moving. Most folks in G. N. Mils know where we are because we’ve been in this spot for a good bit. If the shutters are up, we’re probably inside working on something. We don't really do much talking, just focus on what's in front of us. It's a living, and it keeps us busy. We try to keep the tools in the right place but by Friday it's usually a bit disorganized. That’s just how it goes when you’re busy. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit from our corner here at 10/12. It’s a decent place to work. Nothing too crazy happens. We just take the jobs as they come in. If it's broken, we look at it. That's pretty much the whole story of this place. It isn't much but it is what we do every day.
