Sarathi Bhavan

Sarathi Bhavan is located at No 68 on East Power House Road in the Tatabad area of Coimbatore. We are pretty much right near the power house itself, so the location is easy to find if you're in this part of the city. This road gets a lot of traffic, especially with people going to work in the morning or heading home in the evening. Our building is a simple one, and we keep the doors open most of the time so there’s a bit of a breeze, even if it brings in some of the noise from the street. It’s a no-frills kind of place. We have rows of tables and the staff is always moving around, wiping things down or bringing out glasses of water. We don't spend money on fancy lights or decorations because that's not why people come here. They come because they’re in Tatabad and they need a meal that fills them up. You’ll see workers from the nearby offices, delivery guys taking a break, and sometimes families who live around the corner. It gets pretty loud during the lunch hour, and sometimes you might have to wait a minute for a seat to open up. We’ve been here for a while now, and we just keep doing the same thing every day, serving food to whoever walks through the door from the busy road outside without making things complicated.
