Santhosh Engineering Works

If you look for us, you will find Santhosh Engineering Works tucked away at number 20 in Koniamman Nagar. We are situated right behind Saraswathi Hospital, which is a big landmark for anyone coming down Trichy Road. This part of Chinthamanipudur Post has its own rhythm. Being near a hospital means it is usually busy with people coming and going, though our street stays a bit quieter than the main road. The workshop has been at this spot for quite a bit of time. It is a basic setup with concrete floors and a lot of heavy metal tools scattered around where we need them. We do not spend much time worrying about the decor. Mostly, it is just about getting the machines running and finishing the jobs that come in. The air smells like oil and burnt metal most days. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up from the road. Our staff usually brings lunch from home and we eat together in the small break area when the noise of the machines stops for a bit. It is not a polished corporate office by any means. We have our tools, our benches, and the work we do every day. The neighbors are mostly other small shops and residential houses, so we try not to make too much noise too late at night. It is just a steady place where we get the work done and keep things moving.
