We're over here at 2/2-A in the Lic Agent Colony. It's a busy spot in Sundarapuram. Most mornings we get the shop opened up early because people come by asking about solar heaters or why their panels aren't working right. It gets hot out here, so solar makes sense, but the equipment needs looking after. We spend a lot of time cleaning things or fixing parts that the sun has worn down over the years. It’s mostly just us handling the day-to-day stuff. Sometimes the phones ring too much, but usually, we’re just out on a roof somewhere. People know us around the colony as the place to go when they want to stop paying so much for electricity. We don't have a big office, just this space where we keep the spare parts and the tools. It’s dusty sometimes because of all the work. We’ve been here in this part of Sundarapuram for a while now. Most of our neighbors are our customers, so we see them at the market too. We try to keep things simple. If a pump breaks, we go look at it. If someone wants a panel, we find a spot for it. That's basically how it goes every week. It’s not fancy, but it keeps the lights on for everyone. I think we’ve been here about five years now, and the tea shop next door still makes the best ginger chai.
