Roots Irrigation

Roots Irrigation is located at 13 Madukarai Road, near the Industrial Estate Post. It’s a practical location for the kind of work we do, which is mostly about pipes, drips, and filters for farms and gardens. The area is quite industrial, so we fit right in with the other workshops and warehouses around here. Our daily routine is mostly about loading up supplies and making sure we have enough spare parts in the bins. It’s not a glamorous job, and the shop isn't much to look at. We have some shelves lined with PVC fittings and rolls of black tubing stacked against the walls. Often, we are out the door early to go look at a site, so the office might be empty for a few hours with just a note on the door. When we are here, we are usually busy sorting through orders or fixing a pump that someone brought in. The air in the Industrial Estate can be a bit dusty, and the road gets a lot of heavy truck traffic, which makes for a noisy day. We don’t use any complicated systems; we just write things down in a ledger and keep track of the stock as it goes out. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way because we can keep an eye on everything ourselves without too much fuss.
