Ida Gift Shop

Ida Gift Shop is over at No 156 Ariangar Anna Hudco Colony. It’s a bit of a residential area, so it feels a lot different than being in the city centre. We like it here in Hudco Colony though. Our shop is where people come when they need a card for a neighbor or a small toy for a birthday party. We have rows of shelves with all sorts of bits and pieces. There are ribbons, wrapping paper, and those little figurines that collect dust if you don’t wipe them every day. We spend a lot of time just arranging things so they look halfway decent. It’s not a huge place, so we have to be smart about where we put things. Sometimes we get a delivery of new stock and there’s nowhere to walk for a few hours. We know many of our customers by name because they live just down the street. It’s nice to have that kind of connection. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town, just a place where you can find something thoughtful. The morning sun comes through the front window and it makes the shop feel quite warm. We just keep the door open, sweep the floor, and wait to see who stops by. It’s a quiet life, but we enjoy being part of the neighborhood here at No 156.
