Rise India Trust

We are located out in Thimmanguchu Village, which is part of the Pollachi Taluk near Coimbatore. If you know the area, Samiyandipudur is where you will find us working. Rise India Trust is really just a small group of us trying to do something useful for the local community here. It’s a rural spot, so things move a bit slower than they do in the city center. We spend a lot of our time out in the fields or visiting families in the village to see what is needed. Some days we are helping with school supplies and other days it might be about health or just helping someone fill out a form. We don't have a big fancy office with air conditioning. It’s mostly just a room with a few chairs and a table where we plan things out. The weather can be quite hot out here, so we usually get an early start before the sun is too high. It's not always easy to get things moving, but we keep at it. People in the village know where to find us if they have a problem. We try to be honest about what we can actually do. There’s a lot of paperwork involved in running a trust, which is the part none of us really likes, but it has to be done to keep things legal. We are just local people trying to help our neighbors.
