Rhythms Events

Rhythms Events is based out of a small spot at No 9 A, Sabari Nagar. This is in the Chinnavedampatti area of Coimbatore. It’s a bit away from the main city center, which we actually prefer because it’s a little quieter. The office is basically just one main room where we keep all our gear and our computers. We spend a lot of time sitting at the big wooden table in the middle, planning out who needs to be where. Coimbatore weather is usually okay, but we still have the fans running most of the day to stay fresh. We don't have any fancy posters on the walls, just a calendar with a lot of scribbles on it. Most of our work comes from word of mouth in the neighborhood. We know a lot of the people around Sabari Nagar. Sometimes we have to drive quite a way to get to a venue, so we spend a lot of time in the van. It’s not a glamorous job. There is a lot of heavy lifting and late nights involved. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just like seeing things come together. If someone needs a hand with an event, they usually just drop by or give us a ring. We keep some biscuits and coffee in the cupboard for when we have to stay late to finish a plan. It’s just us, working hard in our corner of Chinnavedampatti.
