Lakshmi Export

Lakshmi Export is tucked away inside the Kandasamy Shopping Complex at 408 Rangai Gowder Street. It’s a very busy market area, so there’s always something happening right outside our door. The complex itself has many shops, but we are more of a back-office type of place. We don't have a big display window or anything like that. Inside, it's mostly just desks, chairs, and stacks of boxes. Rangai Gowder Street is famous for being crowded, so getting here in the morning can be a bit of a challenge with all the carts and people. We have a small sign so people know they’ve found the right spot. It’s just a few of us working here at Lakshmi Export. We spend the day going through lists and talking to people on the phone. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is lucky because the shopping complex gets quite stuffy in the summer. We eat our lunch at our desks most days because it’s too busy to go out. We have a lot of regular tasks that keep us busy from morning until evening. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, but we make do. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do. We’ve been at 408 Rangai Gowder Street for quite a while and the neighbors all know us by name. It feels like a small community inside the big building.
