You can find Raj Melodies at No 6 on Voc Street in RS Puram. This part of Coimbatore is usually quite lively. We have been here for a bit, surrounded by all the shops and houses. Music is what we do, but we keep things very grounded. It’s not a big fancy studio with gold walls. It’s just a place where we keep our instruments and practice when we have the time. Voc Street is a good place to be, though parking can sometimes be a bit of a headache for people visiting. We are usually busy organizing our next performance or checking the sound equipment. Sometimes the wires get tangled and we spend an hour just sorting that out. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most people hear about us through word of mouth or by walking past and hearing the music. We aren't trying to be the biggest name in the city, just a group that plays well and shows up on time. The humidity in Coimbatore can be tough on the instruments, so we have to be careful with that. If you drop by, you might find us drinking coffee and talking about old songs. It is a simple life centered around the melodies we make. We just focus on the notes and the rhythm.
