Raj Engineers

Raj Engineers is located at 85 in the Industrial Cluster over in Chinnapathai, Udayampalayam. It’s an area where people really get their hands dirty. We’ve had this spot for a long time. The building is a simple structure that holds all our machinery and tools. It’s not the most modern place, but it serves its purpose. We spend most of our daylight hours here. Udayampalayam has a lot of small shops like ours, so there’s a sense of being around people who understand the grind. We don't spend money on marketing or fancy brochures. Most of our work comes from word of mouth in the cluster. Inside, the floor is usually covered in metal shavings or oil, depending on what we're doing. We have a small table where we sit to have our lunch and talk about the day's tasks. It’s a humble setup. We don't have a big staff, just a few dedicated guys who know their way around the machines. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. That’s part of the life here. We take pride in the fact that we can fix things that others might give up on. Chinnapathai is a hardworking neighborhood, and we feel like we fit right in. We just keep doing what we’ve always done, one day at a time. It’s a quiet existence but it keeps us satisfied with what we do at the shop.
