Peta Stones Pvt. Ltd. is located at number 27/3 on the Puliyankulam Main Road. We have been in Ramanathapuram for quite a few years now. The yard is full of different stones we’ve brought in for building and landscaping. It’s a heavy job, working with stone. You have to have a lot of patience and good boots. We aren't a corporate office with people in suits. We are usually out in the yard with the cranes and the cutters. The air always smells a bit like wet rock when we are cutting. It’s a sound you get used to after a while. Most of our days are spent talking to drivers and making sure the orders are stacked correctly. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just provide stone for people who are building things that are meant to last. The Puliyankulam Main Road stays pretty busy, so we get a lot of people stopping in just to see what we have. We try to be helpful without being pushy. If we don't have exactly what someone wants, we tell them straight. We think being honest is better than making a sale that doesn't fit. Sometimes the sun is really hot out there, but we stay under the shade of the main shed when we can. It’s a steady life and we’re glad to be part of this community. We just keep moving the stones day by day.
