Perfect Garment Machinery

We are located in the Lakshmi Building, right inside the old Binny Compound on Kumaran Road. To get to us, you have to go down 2nd Street and look for number 18/2. It’s a place that’s seen a lot of history, and the building itself has that old, sturdy feel to it. At Perfect Garment Machinery, we deal with a lot of heavy iron and steel. There are sewing machine heads, motors, and spare parts scattered across our workbenches. The floor usually has a bit of oil on it, which is expected when you’re working with this kind of equipment. We spend our days taking things apart and putting them back together. It’s a noisy job, especially when we’re testing a machine to make sure it runs right. The walls are lined with tools that we’ve collected over the years. Some of them are quite old, but they still work better than the new ones. Customers come in looking for a specific bolt or a belt, and usually, we can find it in one of the many drawers we have. It’s a very hands-on environment. We don’t wear suits here; we wear clothes that we don't mind getting dirty. There’s a lot of tea drinking while we discuss how to fix a particularly stubborn piece of machinery. It’s hard work, but we’ve been doing it long enough that it’s just second nature to us now. We just like fixing things.
