Aarraa Tex

You can find Aarraa Tex at 709, Pk Menan Road in New Siddhapudur. We are right opposite the Sabari Bakery, which is actually pretty nice because the smell of fresh bread usually drifts over here in the mornings. Being in the Gandhipuram area means there is always a lot of foot traffic and people moving around. Our shop is mostly filled with rolls of cloth and different types of textiles stacked up against the walls. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know exactly where everything is kept. People come in looking for specific materials, and we spend a lot of our time unrolling fabrics and measuring things out. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting the heavy bolts of cloth and making sure the inventory is okay. The street outside is always busy with shoppers and delivery bikes, so there is never a quiet moment. We’ve been here for a bit and have gotten used to the constant noise of the city. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us showing the fabric to whoever walks through the door. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic when many people come in at once, but we just take it one person at a time. It’s a simple way to earn a living, dealing with colors and textures all day long in the heart of the market.
