Swami Exports

Swami Exports is located at No. 173 Buliappan Thotam, Velantharalam, Othaikal Mandapam. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here from the main city but we like the extra space it gives us. It’s more of a rural setting than those cramped city offices. We have plenty of room for the big trucks to turn around which makes loading much easier for everyone. The building is an old one but it stays relatively cool even when it's hot outside. We deal with a lot of agricultural exports mostly. There’s a lot of checking for quality and making sure the packing is done right so nothing spoils during the transit. Sometimes we have to work late into the night when the harvests come in from the fields. We all wear boots because the ground can get quite muddy after the rain. It’s a hard-working environment but it's fair. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room for visitors. If someone comes by, they just walk into the main area and find whoever isn't busy with a task. We have a big dog that hangs around the gate and barks at the mailman every morning. It’s a simple life out here in Othaikal Mandapam. We focus on the shipments and the logistics of the business. There’s no need for anything fancy. We just work with what we have and keep the business moving along year after year.
