Neelu Farms

Neelu Farms is located at No: 1/15 on Samy Street in Bharathi Nagar. It’s a mostly residential area, so it feels much quieter than the big main roads nearby. We have our small office and a storage room at this address. Most of what we do here involves managing the paperwork and the logs for what comes in from the farming plots. We aren't actually out digging in the dirt at this specific location; this is where the administrative side of things happens. We usually have some crates stacked up in the corners and a wooden desk that is almost always covered in notes and little scraps of paper. Samy Street is a bit on the narrow side, so we have to be really careful when we have any deliveries coming in so we don't block the neighbors. The people living around us have known us for a long time. We spend our mornings checking the quality of whatever produce was brought in the night before. If something looks off, we have to call the fields and figure out what happened. It’s a lot of talking on the phone and scribbling in ledgers. We don't have a website or any fancy marketing; we just talk to our regular buyers. The building is just an old house that we've adapted for our business. Sometimes the lights are a bit dim, but it doesn't bother us much as we are mostly focused on the stock.
