Sri Ayyappa Ghee

We are located at 153/East Periyaswamy Road in R.S. Puram. This area is always moving, and we are right in the middle of it. Our place is where we handle all the ghee stuff. It’s not a giant factory or anything like that, just a local spot where we make sure things are done right. The smell of the ghee is usually around, which is something we’ve gotten used to over the years. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone writing fancy slogans for us. It’s mostly just family and a few workers who have been here for a long time. People come in from the neighborhood to pick up what they need. We try to keep the place tidy, but it's a working kitchen and storage area, so it looks like what it is. R.S. Puram is a good place for a business like ours because people know where to find us. We don't do much advertising; word of mouth has always been enough. Usually, we are busy with the tins and making sure the heat is just right for the batches. If someone stops by, we talk to them like neighbors because that’s what they are. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just have the ghee and the daily work that goes into it. It’s a simple life and a simple business, and we like it that way.
