Sri Chakra Engineers

We set up Sri Chakra Engineers at No. 12 in Rajendra Nagar, which is part of Narasimhanaicken Palayam. One of the nice things about being here is that we are right near the Children’s Park. You can see families walking over there in the evenings when we are finishing up our work. The shop is mostly where we handle the engineering side of things, so there is usually some equipment around and a bit of dust. It is a straightforward place without any fancy decorations. We have our workbenches and the tools we use every day laid out where we can find them. Rajendra Nagar is a decent place to work out of, not too loud but busy enough that there is always something going on. We start the day early, usually around the time the sun is just coming up over the trees in the park. The space is a bit cramped when we have big projects going on, but we make it work by moving things around. People in the neighborhood know us by now. We don't spend much time worrying about the office looking perfect; we just focus on getting the actual jobs done. It is a lot of hands-on work and staying busy until the shutters go down. The fans hum all day and we have a small kettle for making coffee when we need a break from the noise. It is just a basic shop where we put in the hours.
