Our spot at No. 7/29 Mahalakshmi Garden isn’t exactly on the main highway, so it stays a bit quieter than the center of town. We spend our days around metal and machinery. It’s a bit dusty, and the smell of grease is pretty much permanent, but we don't mind it. The guys on the floor have been working these machines for years. We aren't a corporate office with people in suits. Most of us are in work clothes that have seen better days. The Mahalakshmi Garden area has changed a bit since we first got here, but our daily routine is still the same. We start early when the air is still a bit cool. By noon, the workshop gets pretty hot, so we usually take a long break. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just take the orders, do the engineering work, and try to keep everything running smoothly. Sometimes a machine breaks down and everyone has to pitch in to fix it. That's just how it goes here. It’s a simple setup. We keep the doors open for the breeze, and you can hear the birds in the garden area during the quiet moments. It is just a regular engineering shop doing its thing every day.
