Music Junction

You can find us at Sri Lakshmi Complex on Cross Cut Road in Gandhipuram. We are located at number 63. Cross Cut Road is always packed with people and all sorts of shops, so it is a very lively place for us to be every day. Music Junction has been around for a bit, selling instruments and various gear to anyone who walks in. We aren't a big chain store or anything corporate. It’s more of a local shop where you can actually touch the instruments and try them out before you decide on anything. We have guitars, keyboards, and some traditional Indian instruments too. The shop is often a bit crowded because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand in a small space. It’s not super organized like a mall store might be, but we know where everything is kept. People come in to browse or just to talk about music and what they are playing. We don't push people to buy things they don't really need. If someone is just starting out, we tell them the truth about what gear works for a beginner. Coimbatore has a lot of musicians, so we see all kinds of people, from young students to guys who have been playing for forty years. It’s a simple setup here. We open up in the morning, clean the dust off the displays, and wait for the day to start. Being in the complex means we have good neighbors who run all sorts of businesses. It’s a good community.
