Mega Pack

You can find Mega Pack over in Gandhipuram, right on the first floor above Sri Durga Pouch Machinery. We are at number 278 on 5th Street, and if you see Kalyan Jewellers, you’re basically there since we are right opposite them. It's a busy part of town. Our floor is usually filled with packing materials and machines that we work on. It gets pretty noisy when everything is running, but that's part of the trade. We focus on pouch machinery and all the parts that go with it. A lot of the time we are just busy keeping the inventory sorted or making sure a specific machine is ready to go out. It isn’t the quietest place to work, especially with the street noise from Gandhipuram coming through the windows. We’ve been in this building for a bit now, and people mostly find us by word of mouth or by spotting the sign across from the jewelry shop. We don’t have a big reception area or anything. You just walk in and someone will be there among the crates or checking a list. It's a hands-on kind of place. We deal with a lot of local vendors who need their stuff packed properly. Some days are slower than others, but mostly there's a constant stream of stuff coming and going. We just keep our heads down and get the packing jobs finished. It's simple work but it needs to be done right. There is usually dust and noise, but that is how it goes here. We try to finish up by evening time.
