We are situated at number 87 on Ranga Konar Street in Kattoor. It’s a typical engineering street, so you’ll hear the sound of metal and machines all day long. Marvel Engineering Company isn't a huge factory, but we have enough equipment to handle the jobs that come our way. The shop floor is usually a bit greasy, and there are tools scattered around on the workbenches. We try to keep things organized, but when you’re busy, stuff tends to stay where it was last used. The office is just a small partitioned area at the back where we keep the blueprints and the bills. It’s often quite warm because of the machines running nearby. We’ve been in Kattoor for years and know most of the other workshops on the street. If we need a specific bolt or a bit of help, there’s always someone nearby to ask. We don’t wear suits here; it’s mostly work clothes and boots. The lighting isn't great, but we know where everything is. Clients usually come in through the main door and we talk over the noise of the street. It’s a gritty, hands-on kind of environment. We don't have a website that looks like a tech company. We just have our machines and our hands. That’s enough for us to get the work done every day. Sometimes the cat from next door comes in to sleep on the scrap metal.
