Out here in Palayapudur, things are usually moving pretty fast. Our workshop is located at 139, right in the S.R.K.V. post area of Coimbatore. It is an industrial kind of spot where you hear the sound of machines running most of the day. We handle a lot of engineering work that comes our way from different folks around the city. The floor is usually covered with bits of metal and tools that we use for our daily jobs. It is a dusty place, but that is just how an engineering shop is supposed to look. We do not spend much time cleaning up for show because there is always another job waiting. The heat in Coimbatore can get pretty intense in the afternoon, so we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze we can get. People stop by with parts that need fixing or designs that need to be turned into something real. It is practical work that requires a lot of standing around and checking measurements. We have been at this address for a long time, and the locals know where to find us when something breaks or needs making. There is no front office with air conditioning here, just the workspace and the people who know how to use the equipment. It is a busy life, but it keeps us moving.
