Our place is at 55 B on Avinashi Road in Thottipalayam. Being on such a major road means we see a lot of traffic and a lot of different people coming through. The shop is always a bit chaotic, with various engineering projects in different stages of completion scattered around the floor. We don't have a big corporate structure here; it’s just a group of us who know our way around metal and machinery. The noise from Avinashi Road blends in with the sound of our drills and grinders, creating a constant hum that we don't even notice anymore. We spend a lot of time troubleshooting problems and trying to figure out the best way to put things together. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean, so we usually go home with dirt under our fingernails and oil on our clothes. We don’t have any fancy brochures or a sales team to tell people what we do. If someone needs something made or fixed, they just pull up and come inside to talk. The shop can get quite crowded when we have a lot of materials delivered, and sometimes it takes us a while to find the specific tool we are looking for. But we always get there in the end. We just focus on the practical side of engineering and try to keep things moving as best as we can every day for the people around Thottipalayam.
