Ksm Engineering Company

Ksm Engineering Company is located at No. 9 in Silver Nagar, right by TVS Nagar. It’s a straightforward engineering shop. We have a few lathes and some drill presses that have seen plenty of use over the years. The floor is concrete and has some oil spots here and there, which is pretty normal for a place like ours. We don’t have a big corporate structure or a bunch of managers in suits. It’s mostly just us in the workshop doing the machining work that comes our way. We get a lot of local jobs from other businesses nearby. Sometimes the noise of the cutting tools is so loud we have to wear earplugs all day. We try to keep the place organized, but when we have a big project going on, metal shavings tend to end up everywhere. We usually start early in the morning before it gets too hot. There is a small desk in the corner where we keep the blueprints and the bills, but most of the action happens on the floor. It’s a practical life. We aren't trying to be the biggest company around; we just want to do the work that’s in front of us. If you drop by, you’ll see we are just regular people working with our hands. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about the news or what’s happening in the neighborhood. It is a simple, honest way to make a living.
