Engineers Engineering Works

We’re out at S. F. No.- 167, along the road that goes from Ravthurprivu to Kannapalayam. It’s a bit of a drive out here to Kannapalayam (Po), but it gives us the space we need for the heavy engineering work we do. At Engineers Engineering Works, the shop floor is the main event. We have big lathes and milling machines that take up most of the room. The floor is stained with oil, and there are metal shavings in every corner. It’s a rough environment, but it’s where we feel most at home. We don't have an office staff to speak of; we mostly just handle the paperwork on a cluttered desk in the corner of the shed. The air is always a bit thick with the smell of coolant and grease. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone with fancy talk. If a part needs making, we just figure out the best way to cut it and get to work. The road outside is mostly used by trucks and local farmers, so it stays fairly peaceful except for the sounds of our own shop. We’ve been out here long enough that we don't really think about the commute anymore. It’s just where we go to do the work that needs doing. It’s not elegant, but it’s real.
