Kovali Lakshmi Grinders

My father started this shop back when P.N. Palayam Road was much quieter. We’ve been here at 153, E-3B in the Varadharajalu Layout for quite a few years now. Most people around here know us as Kovali Lakshmi Grinders. It’s not a big fancy factory or anything, just a workshop where we handle the machines people need for their kitchens and businesses. Dealing with grinders is messy work sometimes, but someone has to do it right. We spend our days fixing things, putting parts together, and talking to the regulars who drop by. Usually, the shop smells like metal and oil. It’s just how it is. Sometimes the rain leaks a bit near the front door, but we manage. People come to us because they know where we are and they know we don’t talk a lot of nonsense. A look at the machine is often enough to see what’s wrong and try to get it running again. It’s a steady life. There’s always another motor to wind or a stone to check. We don't have a big office or a secretary answering phones. If you call, you probably get me or one of the guys in the back. We stay busy enough. The traffic on the road has gotten worse over time, but we aren't planning on moving anywhere else. This layout is home for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes in through the door every morning.
