Koval Lakshmi Grinders

You’ll find us over in Varadharaju Layout, tucked away in Ganapa Thy. It’s one of those spots where everyone knows each other’s business. We spend most of our time around the grinders. There’s always that specific smell of metal and grease in the air. It’s been that way since we set up shop here. The floor is usually covered in some kind of dust from the work, no matter how many times we sweep it. Customers come in from the neighborhood, often just walking over because they live nearby. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy for Koval Lakshmi Grinders. Just the name on the door and the sound of the motors running. Sometimes the power goes out in the layout, and we all just sit outside on the steps until it comes back on. It’s a good chance to talk to the neighbors. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around. We just want to make sure the grinders are working right before they go out. It takes a lot of patience to get the parts lined up. My hands are usually stained by the end of the day, but it’s honest work. The Ganapa Thy area gets a bit crowded during the festivals, which makes getting supplies delivered a bit of a headache. But we like it here. It’s home for the business and for us.
