Faith Cloth Field India Private Limited

Our spot is at Number 6, Kombai Thottam, right on Mission Street. The name of the place, Kombai Thottam, basically means it used to be a garden or a field area. Now it’s mostly buildings and cloth work. We have a lot of long tables where we spread out the fabric to check for any holes or weird stains. The windows are usually open to let the breeze in, but that also brings in the noise from Mission Street. We have a small group of people working here, and most of them have been with us since the beginning. There is always a pile of cloth somewhere that needs to be moved or folded. We don't have fancy leather chairs; we use stools or whatever is handy. It’s a very practical environment. Sometimes the power goes out, and we all just sit outside on the steps for a bit until it comes back on. We handle a lot of cotton and different blends. You can see the threads sticking to our clothes by the time we head home. It is a simple life of measuring, cutting, and packing. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. People just know where we are and what we do. It’s a reliable little operation tucked away in a busy part of the town. We usually close up shop once the sun goes down and the street gets quiet.
