K.I.K. Engineering Co. Pvt. Ltd.

Over at K.I.K. Engineering Co. Pvt. Ltd., we spend most of our time out in the workshop. We are located at No.115 D & E in the Tass Industrial Estate, right in Ambattur. It’s a noisy part of town with all the other factories nearby, but we’re used to the sound of machines running all day long. The shop floor is usually covered in metal shavings and the smell of oil. We do a lot of heavy work here, mostly stuff that people need for their own projects or bigger machines. It's not a place where you'd want to wear a nice suit, that's for sure. My desk is tucked in a corner under a bright light, mostly covered in blueprints and half-finished coffee cups. We’ve got a small team, and everyone pretty much knows what they’re supposed to do without being told. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate and we all just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. We don’t have a big fancy sign or a reception area with flowers. If you come by, you’ll probably find us wearing overalls and trying to fix a stubborn piece of equipment. It’s hard work, and the days are long, but it keeps us busy. We’ve been in Ambattur for a long time now. People know they can just drop by and talk to us about what they need. It’s simple, honest engineering work without any of the extra fluff you see in big cities.
