K J Pro Sound & Lights is located at No 43 D on Railway Line 2nd Street in the Ganapathy area of Coimbatore. We are pretty easy to find if you know where the railway gate in Lakshmipuram is. Being so close to the tracks means we hear the trains going by all the time, but we’ve mostly stopped noticing the noise after all these years. The shop is filled with a lot of gear, mostly speakers and lighting rigs that we take out to different spots. It’s a bit of a crowded space because equipment takes up a lot of room, and we’re always moving things around to find what we need. The street outside can get a bit dusty, and parking isn’t always the easiest, but it’s our home base. We usually have a few people around testing cables or cleaning lights. It’s a hands-on kind of place. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a big reception desk. Most of the time, our boots are a bit dirty from the last job we did. We just like working with sound and light, and we’ve been doing it here in Ganapathy for a while now. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses, so everyone kind of knows everyone else. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We just make sure the gear is ready to go when it’s needed. Nothing more, nothing less.
