You can find us at 9/52 S in the Priyamangala Towers, which is on Mtp Road in the Thudiyalur area. It’s a busy spot because of all the traffic going towards the hills. We are mostly focused on power lines and the equipment that goes with them. The building is easy to spot, but the stairs can be a bit of a climb if you’re carrying heavy gear. We have a lot of thick cables and insulators lying around the workshop. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, as there is always some metal shavings or bits of rubber on the floor. We work a lot with local contractors and people who need their electrical infrastructure sorted out. The Thudiyalur post office is nearby, so it’s easy for us to send and receive parts. Sometimes the noise from Mtp Road makes it hard to hear ourselves talk, but we are used to it by now. We usually have a pot of tea going in the back for whoever stops by. It is just a small team of us here, and we handle everything from the paperwork to the actual heavy lifting. We don't have any big slogans or anything like that. We just know how to handle the wires and make sure the power stays where it belongs. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do. The guys usually head home once the day's repairs are finished up.
