We’ve been here at the Chidambaram Complex on Kumaran Road for a while now. Most people around Tirupur know this area is busy, especially with all the garment work going on everywhere. Being on the third floor, we see a lot of the daily rush outside. It’s not a fancy setup, but it gets the job done for the testing services we handle. Most of our days are spent looking at samples and checking if things are up to the mark. It’s quiet work in some ways but keeps us on our toes because there’s always a deadline or a truck waiting. The traffic on Kumaran Road can be a bit much in the mornings, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We just come in, get the machines ready, and start going through the pile of items that need looking at. It isn't anything glamorous, just standard testing and making sure nothing goes out that shouldn't. Sometimes the power acts up or the stairs feel a bit long, but that’s just how it is in an older building like this. We know the neighbors and the tea shop downstairs well. It’s a practical place for what we do. People come by with their bundles, we take them in, and we do our checks. It’s honest work and keeps the local industry moving, I suppose. Just a group of us here trying to keep things accurate every single day.
