I & S Engineers

Started out in Kurichi at the Sidco Industrial Estate a good while back. It’s a busy place with lots of noise from the other sheds nearby. We are at No E-64. Most days it is just about getting the machines running and making sure the orders are ready to go out. The shop floor gets pretty hot in the afternoons but we are used to it by now. We handle a lot of engineering stuff, mostly parts that people need for their own factories. It isn't anything fancy here. Just some lathes, drills, and the usual tools you’d expect to see in an industrial area. People stop by to ask if we can fix this or that, and we usually give it a look. Sometimes the drawings are clear and other times we have to figure it out as we go. It keeps the days from getting too boring. We have a few guys who have been with us since the start. They know where every wrench is kept even if the place looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. We don't spend much time on the office side of things. Most of the real work happens out back where the grease is. If you're looking for us, look for the big blue door near the corner of the block. It stays open most of the time unless the rain gets too heavy and starts coming inside. We just stay busy and keep the machines turning.
