Hats Off Events Management

Our small group operates out of Ramanathapuram in Coimbatore. We handle a variety of events, mostly stuff happening around the 641045 zip code. It could be a birthday party one day or a small meeting the next. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to vendors or checking if the sound system works. It’s not always smooth sailing. Sometimes the caterer is late or the weather in Coimbatore turns suddenly, and we have to move everything indoors quickly. We started this because we liked being part of the local buzz. Our space in Ramanathapuram is usually filled with boxes of decorations and old clipboards. We don’t wear suits or anything; usually, it’s just jeans and a t-shirt so we can move boxes around. It’s about getting the details right, like making sure there are enough napkins or that the lights aren't too bright. We’ve done events in small halls and even in people’s backyards. Every day is a bit different, which keeps us on our toes. We know most of the shopkeepers around here, so getting supplies usually isn't too hard. It’s a lot of standing on your feet for hours. We just stay busy and try to keep things organized so nothing goes wrong at the last minute. It's just us, working hard in our corner of Coimbatore. Sometimes we forget to eat lunch because we're so caught up in the setup, but we get by.
