Hari Coffee

Down on Palakad Road in the middle of Pollachi Bazaar, you’ll find Hari Coffee. It’s a lively area with all the markets nearby. We’ve been here long enough that most of the stall owners know us. The shop isn't very large. We use the space we have to keep things running. In the bazaar, everything moves fast. We try to keep up with that pace. It’s dusty and noisy outside sometimes, but that’s just part of being in the market. We don't use any fancy machines that make a lot of noise. Just the regular stuff. Our day starts before the sun is up, getting things ready for the early morning traders. They need their coffee before the crowds arrive. We don’t have a big menu. We just do what we know how to do. It’s a simple business. We don't talk about missions or visions. We just want to make sure the pot is always full. Sometimes it’s just one person working the counter. We take turns. It’s hard work standing all day, but we like being in the center of things. People stop by for a quick chat and a drink. It’s a basic setup with just the essentials. We don’t need much else. If you are ever wandering through the bazaar, you can’t miss us. We’re right there on the main stretch. The floor is concrete and the walls could use some paint, but it's home to us. It is what it is.
