We are over here at No 10A on Sanganur Road, right in the middle of S P Nagar. It is a busy spot in Coimbatore and most days you will see us hauling curtains or checking on lighting fixtures. The shop isn't fancy, but it gets the job done. We spend most of our mornings drinking tea and looking over the schedules for whatever house or hall needs fixing up next. People come in with all sorts of ideas for their places, some want things very bright and others like it simple. We just try to make sense of what they are asking for and get the supplies ready. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we usually try to do the heavy lifting early. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the traffic on Sanganur Road, which can be a real headache. But we manage. Most of the staff has been around for a while, so we know where everything is kept, even if the back room looks like a mess to anyone else. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where we sort out the fabrics and the frames. If someone walks in, they usually just find us working at the main table or on the phone with a supplier. It is straightforward work, really. Just making sure things look right before we head out to the site.
