Gee R Granites & Marbles

We are located at 5/1522 on Sathy Road, right in the Ramakrishnapuram part of Ganapathy. It’s a busy road and the shop is usually covered in a thin layer of stone dust because we are always moving things around. We have been here at Gee R Granites & Marbles for quite some time now. The yard is filled with stacks of granite and marble slabs of all different sizes. I spend most of my time outside with the workers, making sure things are loaded correctly onto the tempos. It’s a noisy environment with the traffic and the sound of stone being moved about. We don't have any air conditioning or a fancy waiting area for customers. Most people just stand around the yard looking at the different patterns in the stone. We have some water in the back if it gets too hot. The flooring inside the small office area is just plain concrete and we have a few chairs for guests. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the building itself. We just focus on having enough stock so that when a builder comes by, he can find what he needs for his project right away. It’s a regular local business. We know many of the people who live around here in Ganapathy. Sometimes the neighbors stop by just to say hello and see how things are going. We keep things pretty informal. If you want to see the stone, you just walk in.
