Abc Engineering

Abc Engineering is located on Sanganoor Road in the Ganapathy area. We are at No. 424, and people usually find us by looking for the Kannan Department Road. It’s a busy part of town, and the road outside always has scooters and buses zooming by at all hours. Our workshop is a straightforward engineering space without any frills. We have the usual machinery set up, and there’s almost always a bit of oil or grease on the floor near the units. It’s not the kind of place where you’d ever wear a suit to work. We are usually in our rough work clothes, busy with whatever part needs machining or fixing that day. The sound of the lathes and drills is just part of the background noise here. We have a small wooden desk near the front for the paperwork, but most of the action happens in the back of the shop. The Ganapathy area is known for this kind of technical work, so we are surrounded by several similar small shops. We’ve been here for a good while, and the routine hasn't changed much over the years. We start early in the morning, get the machines warmed up, and work through the list of tasks. Sometimes we have to shout over the noise just to talk to each other. It’s a practical environment. There’s a small shop nearby where we get our tea. We are just a local engineering shop.
