Excellent Exports

Over in Ganapathy, at 145- B Deivanayaki Nagar, is where we run Excellent Exports. It’s a bit away from the main chaotic parts of the city, which is nice. We like being in this neighborhood. The office is a basic setup, nothing that would win any design awards. We’ve got our computers, a printer that jams occasionally, and plenty of notebooks for scribbling down quotes. Ganapathy is a good area with a lot of small industries nearby, so we feel right at home. Our daily routine is pretty fixed. We come in, check the overnight messages, and start calling the logistics people. We handle a variety of goods, whatever needs exporting. It’s not always exciting, but it’s steady work. We’ve got a few chairs for visitors, though most of our business is done over the phone or through messaging these days. The sun hits the front of the building in the afternoon, so we usually pull the curtains then. We don’t have any big slogans on the wall. We just want to make sure the stuff we send out gets where it needs to go without too much trouble. Sometimes things get stuck at the border or the port, and we spend the whole day sorting that out. That’s just the nature of the job. We are just a local team doing our best with what we have in this small office.
