G. R. Engineering Works

You can find G. R. Engineering Works over at No. 8 in Omsakthi Nagar. We are based in Chinnavedampatti, and it’s a decent enough spot for a workshop like ours. The garage door stays open most of the day to let some air in while we work on the different projects that come our way. It’s mostly metal work and repairs, so there’s always a bit of dust and the smell of oil in the air. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big marketing budget to speak of. Most people find us just by word of mouth or by knowing we’re here in the neighborhood. We handle the local jobs as they come in, sometimes it's a small fix and other times it's a bit more involved. The workspace is a bit cramped because we have a lot of machinery squeezed into the room, but we make it work. We aren't looking to become a huge corporation. We just like doing the work and seeing a job finished properly. Our tools have some wear and tear on them, but they’ve never let us down when we need them. Usually, the day starts with a list of things to cut or weld, and we just work through it until the sun goes down. It’s honest work and we don’t try to make it sound like more than it is. If you come by, just look for the gate that’s always halfway open and you'll find us.
