Excellent Exports

You’ll find Excellent Exports down in the semi-basement of Cheran Towers, at No. 78/81. Being on the Arts College Road means there are always students and faculty walking past the building. Since we are in the basement, it stays a little cooler than the upper floors, which we really appreciate during the summer months. The downside is that we don't get much natural light, so we have to keep the fluorescent lamps on all day. The office is a bit of a maze of boxes and desks. We’ve been here for a long time, and the space has slowly filled up with various bits of equipment and old records. It’s a busy building with lots of other businesses, so there’s always a hum of activity in the hallways. Our spot is tucked away near the back stairs. We spend our hours here tracking shipments and talking to people on the phone. Sometimes the noise from the road above filters down, but it’s mostly just a low rumble. We have a small rug near the door that’s seen better days, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. It’s a functional place, nothing more and nothing less. We know the security guards and the tea guy well. It’s just our daily spot for getting things moving. We don't have many visitors, so the basement quiet is nice.
