Deepam Beverages

Deepam Beverages has its home at No: 47 on Nethaji Road. It is a very busy street, and we have been here for a long time now. The building is narrow and tall, so we have to use every inch of space for our beverage crates. It is a bit of a squeeze when a new shipment comes in. We don't have any fancy displays or modern lighting. Most of the furniture in our small office area is made of old wood and has been there since we started. We open the shutters early in the morning to let some air in. Nethaji Road is always full of sounds, from horns to people talking. We have gotten so used to it that we don't even notice the noise anymore. Our work is mostly about managing the stock and making sure the deliveries go out to the local shops. We don't use any high-tech systems. Everything is handled with phone calls and paper notes. It is a very simple way of doing things, but it works for us. We know almost everyone on this block. Sometimes we sit on the steps and talk to the other shopkeepers during our breaks. Deepam Beverages is just a part of the local scenery here. We don't have any grand plans to expand, we just like keeping things as they are. It is honest, everyday work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday and we are fine with that.
