Dayspring Garments is over on Kottur Road in Suleswaranpatty, which is part of the Pollachi area in Coimbatore. If you walk down the road, you can usually hear the sound of the machines running. We are a private limited company, but it feels more like a workshop where everyone knows each other’s names. Working with garments is a bit messy with all the thread and fabric scraps everywhere, but that is just how a real factory looks. We spend our time cutting, stitching, and checking the pieces before they get packed into boxes. The weather in Pollachi can be quite nice, but inside the workspace, it gets warm when all the equipment is running at once. We are not some high-fashion outlet; we are just a group of people making clothes that people can actually wear. The staff here are mostly locals who have been doing this for years. We have had our share of broken needles and machine breakdowns, but we just fix them and keep going. There is no corporate polish here, just a lot of hard work and the smell of fresh cloth. We try to stay busy and make sure we meet the deadlines for the orders we take on. It’s a straightforward life on Kottur Road, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We just do our bit every day and try to keep the machines hummed up.
