Coffee Time

Coffee Time is just a small spot over at 77 Mamarath Thottom Ganapathy in the Race Course area of Ramanathapuram. We’ve been running things here for a bit, mostly just serving people who live nearby or work around the neighborhood. It isn't a huge place with lots of tables, but we try to keep it tidy enough for people to sit for a minute. Most folks just stop in while they are on their way somewhere else. We make the coffee the way we’ve always made it, nothing too complicated or trendy. Sometimes it gets a little crowded in the mornings when the office crowd starts moving, but it quietens down later on. The chairs are a bit old and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. We know most of the regulars by name and what they like to drink without them having to say much. It’s a simple life running a shop like this. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations or advertising. People just find us because they want a hot drink and a bit of a break from the sun. If you are walking through Ramanathapuram near the Race Course, you’ll see our sign. We are usually there from early morning until the evening. Just a local shop doing its thing day after day.
